Rasy Hul

Co-Founder and Director of the Residency Program 

Mr. Hul has been working in the arts sector in Cambodia and in the Southeast Asian region for over 8 years, primarily with interdisciplinary dance company Tribal Crackling Wind, Peter Chin A.D. based in Toronto Canada and Siem Reap Cambodia, as well as with Amrita Performing Arts in Phnom Penh, Cambodia Living Arts, and Phare Ponleu Selpak Cambodian Circus. 

His work has been primarily as a musician, rehearsal director, research assistant and photographic and video documentation, as well as some translation, and stage managing. 


This work has taken Rasy Hul across Cambodia, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Preah Vihear, Battambang, and the Kep area, as well as internationally to Singapore, Bandung, Bali and Sumatra Indonesia, Thailand, and most recently to Hong Kong. Rasy Hull recently worked with Tribal Crackling Wind (Peter Chin, Artistic Director) in Toronto, Canada as a musician and production assistant for the work Trillionth I with presentations in-progress at the Nuit Blanche Festival and the showcase of the Fall for Dance North Festival, September to November 2019. 

Mr. Hul has been involved in Tribal Crackling Wind’s latest large-scale international project, Trillionth I, as a musician and production assistant, alongside four other Cambodian music and dance artists, as well as a cast from Indonesia, Mexico and Canada. This work has had workshops in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap and will have further workshops in Toronto culminating in performances there before touring. 

Besides the arts, Rasy Hul is an avid breeder and vendor of livestock, as well as gentleman farmer. 

 We are excited about the projects in the future and the recent workshop with Phnom Penh dance artists here really showed me how wonderful the environment is for creativity and a spiritual focus. - Rasy Hul

Thavin Hul កូន ផ្ទះតូច has many years of construction, plumbing and electrical experience behind him, with numerous successful domestic property projects in the Siem Reap area under his belt. He worked with Otherways travel agency for over 10 years, and also works on contract with Hanuman Travel.

Building the NKK Dance Centre and watching it grow has been a challenging and satisfying experience and one that I feel proud of. I look forward to building the dance studio soon. - Thavin Hul
